Happy Valentine’s Day with Expressions of Gratitude

God’s Creative Hand

Expressions of gratitude are here today. This is mid-February and I am truly energized not only with my commitment to writing but am refueling my passion for photography. I see more of my creativity rising to the surface. More than anything, I see God allowing me to be open with myself and focus on more than circumstances. One thing I am truly grateful for is all the bloggers I have come know through this community. There are some great storytellers among you. There are passionate Believers among you (definitely inspired to encourage and inspire others in their walk). There is a plethora of creative people who have cared enough to share. I truly enjoy the mornings because I get to read these blogs and open my heart to fellow creatives. From teachers, singers, musicians, artists, coaches, etc., it is an awesome journey to share with them. You can see my list of those I follow and choose to share with them as well. Or, follow someone from one of their blog list. The list is a ripple affect and I certainly am enjoying the ride.

I wrote a short story this week but need to tweak it before I post. After joining a free creative writing course that basically just sends emails to you with ideas that inspire you to develop characters, story lines, etc., the story flowed with just a thought process from the assignment. I definitely have to set up the page for my short stories but that’s coming. There are other features I want to add but this is a work in progress. Time is a flying by! As I am inspired to build creative expressions, I must say time is important. Managing my time is still a work in process, but the mornings are great. However, I am enjoying the moments. This year started off with focusing on the “now.” I am enjoying now.

In all honesty, there were some moments when the pity party started because of my circumstances, but after reading a fellow blogger’s post, I snapped out of it. One of the points of this post is community. As this is Valentine’s Day weekend, I must say Happy Valentine’s Day to all the bloggers who have shared. And, whether or not it was just for readers, the various posts have blessed the readers, especially me. Thanks!

  1. The hardest part is keeping a schedule for blogging for me too

    1. I know, right. However, it’s all in the daily process. I think I might have to have a day where I just read the blogs. My only problem with that is each day I look forward seeing what the blogging community has posted and I have been inspired and motivated by the writings. Well, go figure. It will work itself out.
