True Love

The poet in me rises this morning in quiet time, devotion and prayer. So, this morning I want to share that God is true love.

There’s something about true love that bids drama adieu.

There’s something about true love that brings you to you.

True love accepts you for who you are;

An exceptional place to be by far.

True love brings what nothing compares

A place to tell others, I’ll meet you there.

Where nothing shakes your foundational core;

True love, a place worth striving for.

God is the center, you know from whence you came.

True love, a place where you are known by name.

Dancing in the moonlight, your spirit free.

Singing in the rain is who you be.

Flying on the wings of inner peace,

A heart full that will never cease

To explore the vantages of true love. Beware,

You just might find I’ll meet you there.

When true love rises to take control,

The place to find it, at the core of your soul.

Buried so deep, the peace within

Covered by the rubbage that buried your friend.

True love causes you to really care.

The picnic of the soul, I’ll meet you there.

True love, where life does truly unfold;

Where warmth and peace push out the cold.

“Where are you going?” True love does say.

“Come take a seat, I want you to stay.”

True love lets you be who you truly are.

An exceptional place to be, by far.

  1. Hi, I am trying to read several blogs today and find out more about fellow bloggers. I enjoyed your blog, both in your expression and how you display your writings. I noticed on your sidebar a group of words. I am interested to hear how you added the text in the sidebar with the large and small words.

    1. I believe the words are the categories or tags and they come up the way they come up. I believe it is based on what categories or tags are used most often. You can check with editors on this.

    2. Thank you. I need to take more selfies this year. Lost a few thousand images from my computer when I upgraded to Yosemite. It is in the process. Thank you though. I do appreciate the feedback.

  2. I enjoyed your ease with words and the flexibility of your thoughts, which in every line gave birth to a romantic expression of love and in totality to the true meaning of true love. I can’t wait to read more of you posts.
